彭健,女,博士,教授,博士生导师。1984年毕业于华中农业大学畜牧专业获学士学位,1987年获动物营养与饲料专业硕士学位,1999年获动物遗传育种与繁殖专业博士学位。1997年9月至1998年12月在加拿大Manitoba大学进行合作研究。现任华中农业大学动物科技院动物营养与饲料科学系主任、《华中农业大学学报》编委、中国畜牧兽医学会动物营养学分会理事、湖北省饲料工业协会常务理事等。主持、承担并完成863、973、国家自然科学基金、国家攻关、国家成果转化基金等国家及省部级重点研究20项目,获国家及省部级奖励12项,其中“瘦肉型猪新品种(系)及配套技术的创新研究与开发”2006年获国家科技进步二等奖、“双低油菜籽优质饼粕制备饲料技术开发”2005年获湖北省科技进步一等奖和武汉市科技进步一等奖(主持)。

1997年被湖北省人民政府授予“湖北省有突出贡献中青年专家”、1999被年湖北省委组织部、湖北省人事厅、湖北省科协授予“第四届青年科技奖”、2003年入选湖北省新世纪高层次人才工程第二层次、2004年入选教育部新世纪优秀人才支持计划、2008年获得国务院特殊津贴、2009年入选新世纪百千万人才工程国家级人选。从事动物营养学、饲养学、营养调控与动物育种、分子营养学及动物生产学等课程教学、科研、生产和技术服务等工作。目前主持国家自然科学基金、863、国家支撑计划、国家农业成果转化基金等国家及省部级重点研究8项目。在《Amino Acids》、《General and Comparative Endocrinology》、《Journal of Animal Physiology and Animal Nutrition》、《Journal of Animal Science》、《中国粮油学报》、《中国兽医学报》、《中国畜牧杂志》、《国外畜牧科技》等国内外核心期刊上发表研究论文80余篇,主编或参编《实用养猪技术》(副主编),《快速养猪技术》、《种猪测定原理与方法》、《魅力无限的田野》等6部。已培养毕业博士生8人,硕士研究生30人,目前在读博士研究生4人、硕士研究生15人。
