1990年起,在华中农业大学食品科技学院学习,先后完成本科、硕博学习,1994年起在华中农业大学食品科技学院任教,现任华中农业大学食品科技学院副院长;湖北省食品胶体工程技术研究中心主任;湖北省大宗农产品加工产业创新基地主任;是教育部新世纪优秀人才基金获得者;湖北省杰出青年基金获得者;霍英东基金高等院校青年教师奖获得者。是亚洲蛋品协会秘书长;中国食品科学技术学会青工委委员;中国农学会农产品贮藏加工分会理事。国家农业科技创新体系蛋鸡体系后备人才。湖北省魔芋产业产业链首席科学家;是Carbohydrate Polymers 等14个国际期刊审稿人。
