周锐,博士,教授,博士生导师,国家973计划项目首席科学家。1968年生于湖北,1996年获华中农业大学兽医病理学硕士学位,2003年获德国慕尼黑大学兽医学博士学位。现任华中农业大学动物医学院教授、实验动物中心主任,兼任预防兽医学系副主任、湖北省实验动物学会副理事长及PLoS ONE、Environ Microbiol、Microbiol、Vet Microbiol、J Clin Microbil、BMC Vet Res、J Vet Med Scie、 Can J Vet Res、J Mol Biol、Vaccine、畜牧兽医学报、生物工程学报、农业生物技术学报等国内外近20种学术期刊审稿人。2004年入选教育部新世纪优秀人才支持计划。先后主持国家自然科学基金、973计划、863计划、转基因生物新品种培育重大专项、教育部重大科技项目、湖北省生物技术重大项目、中英合作项目等20余项。在Journal of Bacteriology、Environmental Microbiology、Microbial Pathogenesis、FEMS Microbiology Letters、Veterinary Microbiology、Molecular Immunology、PLoS ONE等学术期刊上发表论文80余篇,获得国家新兽药注册证书2项,申报发明专利4项,获得授权专利1项。
