现任华中农业大学食品科技学院副院长,国家现代农业产业技术体系岗位科学家,农业部国家蛋品加工技术研发分中心主任,国家一级学会中国畜产品加工研究会蛋品专业委员会主任委员,亚洲蛋品协会主席,中国蛋品科技大会主席,获省级优秀教师称号,享受国务院政府特殊津贴专家。 主要研究领域为肉类蛋品科学与加工利用技术。国家蛋鸡产业技术体系岗位科学家,先后主持承担国家自然科学基金、863、“十一五”支撑项目、农业部948项目、省重点攻关等6项课题。
